So it was Christmas just now, had a nice holiday, awesome New Year’s and now it’s back to reality. My bank accounts are empty, credit cards are maxed out and I don’t know if I’m glad end of month is here or not. What is it about the Christmas season that makes us all go silly and just buy, buy, buy. I always say to myself, I’m not going to spend money over Christmas. Yeah right! Come holiday season and it’s just money left, right and centre.
In the back of my mind there is that little voice that keeps shouting, ‘Don’t spend, don’t spend’, and even though I do actually listen to it, I still ignore it. It’s like there is another voice, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll worry about it later’. How I hate the second one.
So here we are, end of January, knee-deep in debt and what have we got to show after the holiday except memories?
But would I want to go back and do it any other way? No way! Had an awesome holiday!

Just Think.
Most definitely! I’ve found it’s also much easier to control you credit cards if you do online banking, another feature FNB wins hands down with!
