Fair is not fair anymore. what was fair in the past to try and fix the problem was to give certain individuals the opportunity to rise to the top while holding others back in order to reset the balance. Now however the system is being abused as it is so easy to get what you want if you keep the other party feeling guilty all the time.

If you had to hurt someone, whether by accident or on purpose or even ignorance and later you feel bad about it and apologise, isn’t it unfair of that person to keep taking advantage of you by referring to the incident over and over again?
Isn’t this an infringement on your human rights? You’ve paid your dues, you’ve apologised, now let it go. LET IT GO!
What makes it worse is when that person keeps on taking advantage of the situation even after you have left the earthly abode by referring the generation after you to the injustice which was caused by you. Now that is major infringement on your human rights.

South Africa has a long way to go. Until certain parties can’t let go of their grievances or even better, until such a time as everyone are treated equally (meaning no special favours based on the colour of your skin or the language you speak) the issue will never be resolved. We’ll carry on going in circles. Round and round and round.

I suppose it is a lot to do with our human nature. I think we all have a need to feel accepted and recognised. In a way, having a blog sort of makes you feel important. You tell yourself that you life is important enough that people would want to read about it!
Well that and the fact that, I can go off here and rant and rave and no-one actually cares.

So let’s see, the definition of blog, Google brings up 61, 800, 000 results for the search term, ‘definition of blog’. The first result is Wikipedia. In the first paragraph it says, ‘A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.‘ Well there you have it.

But typical mankind have taken it a step further.Huge corporate companies have started catching on and have turned it into a marketing tool. In fact, I know some of them encourage their staff to blog. (I think this might just be a scam to keep tabs on everyone)

Whatever your reason, at the end of the day it’s about having fun. And that is entirely what I plan to have with this blog. Have a browse around, come back, don’t come back. But just have fun!
