EDIT 16 July 2010 – Just another waste of time. I can’t help but wonder, what the whole point is of doing something like this? Is it a joke? Is it another scam? Some people really have too much time on their hands…
So just ignore, as attractive as it may seem!!!

Needing urgent help. These huskies and their pups will be put down if they don’t find a home very quickly! I don’t even want to know what kind of person can go so low. See the message below for more info.

Anyone want a puppy? Or know someone who does?
Looking for urgent housing for the above huskies, otherwise they will unfortunately be put down.
The female is 2 years old, the male 1.5 years old and the pups are 8 weeks old.

Huskies & Wolves in Port Elizabeth

Save-a-pet recently had to make home for 120 huskies and wolves at their haven in PE (Port Elizabeth).
This animal shelter is urgently in need of help of any kind. If anyone could make a donation in either money form or food it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit - Dave Bath from Save-a-pet has informed me that there is in fact 58 huskies and wolves and not 120 as reported earlier, however a mother had 7 pups last night so the number now stands at 65.
Talk about growing a tail..

Save-a-pet Port Elizabeth

Save-a-pet is based in Port Elizabeth. Founder and president, Mavis Smith, is an absolute angel amongst angels.
She gets help from the community in the form of volunteers that help with taking care of the orphaned dogs as well as donations form the local community.They are developing their hall into an education centre and already have schools visiting on a regular basis. They also have an informal clinic helping the poorer citizens in their area to inoculate and assist in the sterilisation of their pets.
Their main aim is to have their own hospital “up and running” with a qualified veterinarian on hand to assist in the health of the animals and thereby improving the health of the poor themselves.

If you can, please help their cause by means of donations of money, food, kennels, bedding or goods for re-sale at their boot sale.
Volunteer to help at the kennels by walking dogs, cleaning kennels and buildings.

Or just visit the kennels. The dogs are always happy to see new faces.
